Authoritative publications always check the reliability of their information before publication, but on the Internet every second there is just an incredible amount of new information, therefore it is difficult for the reader to separate something that stands from questionable information. Therefore, the Internet giant Google began working on identifying dubious news and facts to help users choose to read and view only trustworthy sources.
The fact verification feature was already available to US and British Google News aggregator users for iOS and Android since last fall, but now that the system has proven effective, Google experts have decided to extend the powers of the fact-finding program by extending it to all requests for Google News and search engine. The developers of the system report that it works in all languages.
Now, next to the search results displayed after an arbitrary query, the data of the fact-finding resources will be displayed. A short comment will contain information about who was doing the audit, and the conclusion on its outcome is true or false, for example. In addition, the news that has been tested will be marked with the corresponding "Fact Check" mark.
