Microsoft has completed the development of a special version of the operating system Windows 10 commissioned by the Chinese government. Microsoft programmers worked on creating a custom OS together with the Chinese company Electronics Technology Group (CTEC). The Chinese government was concerned about the fact that the NSA can monitor any activity of users of Windows operating systems. In order to ensure information security of the state, officials tried to abandon the use of Microsoft products. In 2013, it was decided to develop an alternative to Windows based on Ubuntu with the support of Canonical. The system was code-named Kylin, but, true, it never took off. Microsoft is very much in favor of the Chinese market, because such large partners as Tencent, Lenovo, Xiaomi and other equally famous companies reside there. That is why, in order to improve their positions there, the corporation management decided on an unprecedented step: to create an individual version of its latest operating system for the Chinese government. About the exclusive version of Windows 10, almost nothing is known, except that Microsoft once again tried to protect the operating system from pirates.
