Developers from the company Exyn Technologies have created artificial intelligence, thanks to which drones are able to autonomously fly in rooms without GPS. More machines equipped with such software development are quite tolerably oriented in the dark and are able to independently build a route relying on their sensors.
"It is much more difficult to create such an artificial intelligence for drones than to develop a similar program for unmanned vehicles or any other terrestrial autonomous device," Vidzhaya Kumara, head of the start-up company, cites the TechCrunch website.
Drones move in three dimensions, which means that they often have to face obstacles that have not been mapped. In addition, a smart autonomous aircraft must take into account other parameters: the load that it can raise, the consumption of batteries and much more.
Vijay Kumar, the founder of the startup Exyn Technologies, explained that the software developed by his team can be installed on almost any drones.

In a video posted on the Exyn Technologies website, you can see how an unmanned drone, having received from the operator coordinates, in which the UAV must arrive, builds a map of the room in real time, and then independently finds the best route, bypassing obstacles and people standing on it ways. The operator sets the drona only the final point of arrival, and the entire route is built by the device independently.
Now the developers are planning to train several such drones to work in a team, jointly carrying out certain tasks.
