"We see our mission in making a mass product. Smartphone Jolla C on Sailfish OS can already be bought in Europe, and its version on Sailfish Mobile OS RUS will go on sale before the end of the year. Approximately at the same time, the smartphone Oysters will appear on the Russian version of Sailfish, now we are negotiating with the company about the necessary technical characteristics of the device, "says Eiges.
According to him, by the end of the year on the Russian counters there will be a smartphone "Ermak OMP", focused on corporate clients. The price of the device fluctuates around 1,500 dollars. In the register of the Ministry of Communications, a WMD application has already been registered to include their version of Sailfish in the register of Russian software.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian version of the operating system Tizen has already been added to the registry, it is supported by Skolkovo and works on some Samsung smartphones.
At the moment, among the mobile operating systems, Android is the leader - it is installed on more than 80 percent of devices. The second place is occupied by the OS from Apple, its market share is about 14 percent. The remaining percentages share among themselves a number of other mobile operating systems.
