Samsung, the largest Korean electronics manufacturer, plans to actively develop its mobile operating system Tizen, and for this it needs high-quality software. Information Agency "Vedomosti" As an alternative to Microsoft Office, it is planned to pre-install the “My Office” application package, developed within the walls of the Russian company “New Cloud Technologies”, on smartphones running Tizen.
Recall that the open source operating system Tizen was developed based on the Linux kernel and is the successor of operating systems such as MeeGo, LiMo and Bada (another Samsung experiment in the OS field). Tizen simultaneously supports ARM and x86 architectures, and today not only smartphones, but also smart TVs, smart watches, digital cameras, computers, car systems and other electronics work under its control.

The Russian company plans not only to provide its software to Samsung smartphone users, but also to develop new software together with its partner from South Korea. Emphasis will be placed on the needs of government agencies for whom the security of their data is most important. At the moment, Tizen operating system is undergoing the necessary certification procedures of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) to meet all the requirements in terms of reliability and safety. The same certification is to pass and the software "New cloud technologies."
Dmitry Komissarov, General Director of New Cloud Technologies, claims that every year, government agencies need from 20 to 50 thousand certified mobile devices, which they plan to supply to the Russian market together with their Korean partners. Meeting this demand can bring the company a profit of about 100 million rubles, because the cost of the Russian office application package will be included in the price of the smartphone.
To date, there is not officially a single smartphone running Tizen on the Russian market. But in the near future this situation may change.
