The Italian company has released a WhatSim SIM card to work with the WhatsApp application. Simka provides free use of the messenger in the networks of over 400 telecom operators in 150 countries of the world, including in Russia.
The founder of WhatSim was the head of Zeromobile, Manuel Zanello, who considered WhatsApp "the future of mobile communications." According to him, the WhatSim SIM card solves the problem with expensive roaming and search for free Wi-Fi hotspots abroad.
For 10 euros, the user receives a SIM card for unlimited text messaging between WhatsApp users for one year. Sending and receiving multimedia files (photo, video and sound), however, will not be free. The cost of the service will depend on the country in which the user is located.
Zanello says that for 5 euros the user will receive 1000 credits, which in many countries of the world can be spent, for example, on the exchange of 50 photos or 10 videos. You will not have to pay for the publication of the status and exchange of contacts.
