Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University have developed an algorithm that can independently edit videos, leaving only the most interesting and unforgettable moments. A system called LiveLight analyzes the content and deletes the repeating scenes in the video. This adds dynamism to the video and makes it more fun to watch.
According to the Gigaom resource, LiveLight can automatically cut out long, boring scenes in a video made with GoPro cameras, soapboxes or surveillance cameras. The result is high-quality content that is pleasant to consume (watch).
Thanks to LiveLight, you no longer need to share the complete recordings of your home video, even if you do not have editing skills. The algorithm will highlight the most important points - for example, how you blow the candles on a birthday cake, fall dressed in a pool or sing a favorite song.
