The World Summit Award Mobile Global Initiative, organized by the International Center for New Media (ICNM) in Salzburg, was created in cooperation with the United Nations World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and with the support of UNESCO, UNIDO and the UN Global Alliance for Information and communication technologies and their development (UN GAID).
