Everyone who learns English (as, indeed, any other) knows that the most difficult is not rules and grammar at all, because all this can be learned with the help of banal cramming. The most difficult thing is the vocabulary, that is, the vocabulary. To constantly replenish your vocabulary, you need to read books in your target language, speak it, listen to audio recordings, and so on. And all this, of course, requires a lot of free time, which, as a rule, no one has. But everything will be completely different if you decide to use the Wipi application, which we will talk about now.
The Wipi application is probably one of the easiest, but nonetheless very effective ways to learn new English words. In a sense, Wipi is a well-known card that has long been proven to be a great way for anyone who wants to quickly replenish their vocabulary.
The application is based on a simple mechanism that has been known to all of us since early childhood. After all, even our mother tongue (to say nothing about a foreign language), we all learn roughly the same way: we point to the subject, hear its name and memorize a new word. And with the help of this possibly children's method, you can learn a large amount of words in the shortest possible time.
All the words that you hear in the Wipi application are pronounced by a native speaker of English, and bright and high-quality images on the cards will help them to remember. All cards are united by common topics, for example: "Products", "Animals", "Transport", "Dishes", "Decorations" and so on.
In total, the Wipi application has ten free themes (and two more bonus ones that are also available for free), but only one will be open initially. To open each next topic, you must carefully examine the previous one. During the game you will earn certain bonuses - keys, with which you can open a new theme. Themes, by the way, can be opened in any order as you wish.
In addition to themed cards, in the Wipi application there is another very useful section called “Lexicon”. All the words you have learned from various topics will appear in it. Here, by selecting the appropriate time of the game and the duration of the display of cards, you can repeat the material covered. And after the end of the exercise, you will learn how many correct and incorrect results were given.
Thus, spending only fifteen minutes a day on Wipi, you will greatly increase your vocabulary in a short time. The main thing is not to forget to do it, especially since it can be done at any time and in any place: Wipi Internet is not required.
