Google continues to clean the ranks of its services. The next stage in the development of the company will be the integration of text, voice and video services into one platform, which, according to information from many sources, will be called Babble , which, in English, means “chatter”.
Today, Google is faced with a huge problem - a large number of communication platforms have gathered in the company's portfolio, which do not interact with each other, and if they do, they don’t work as they would like. Google Talk, Hangout, Voice, Messenger, Chat for Drive and pseudo-messenger Google Talk for G + - they all somehow differ from each other. Only two of the above services truly interact with each other - this is Google Talk for the Gmail mail service and Talk for the Google Plus social network. But if you ask the opinion of anyone who uses these two services, you will hear a lot of unflattering words.
So immediately this issue will not be resolved, but a cross-platform solution will allow Google in one fell swoop to bypass such eminent services as iMessage and BlackBerry Messenger. According to the resource Geek, referring to various sources, to solve all the problems accumulated over a long time, the communication platform built from scratch will help.
With the new unified service, you can share photos through the chat window following the example of G + Messenger, organize virtual Hangout meetings and communicate with any person from your contact list, as before. Looking ahead, we can assume that all individualized services will also be transferred to one single platform. The user will be given the opportunity to use a single chat window with a set of identical features available for all software products released by Google.
Google has not made any official statements regarding the merging or branding of the work of its services. The exact launch date of Babble is also not reported, but all sources are inclined to one thing - the new cross-platform service will be presented at the developer-oriented conference Google I / O, which this year will be held from May 15 to 17 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco (California, USA).
Following Reader, Talk and Hangout, 10 more Google services may fall under the knife.
