Start-up company Ubi Interactive, together with Microsoft, has developed a system that uses a Kinect sensor to create a virtual touch screen on any surface. The technology is out of beta testing and is available to a wide range of consumers. Microsoft has announced that it is already accepting orders for the purchase of magic software.
Information should be available by a single touch, no matter where you are. Turning any surface into a touchscreen eliminates the need for monitors. Costs are reduced and the possibilities for using interactive displays are expanding where it was previously impossible, for example, on walls in public places, ”says the Ubi guide.

For those who already have a desktop computer with a connected projector in the office or at home, it is enough to purchase a Kinect for Windows sensor ($ 250) and software that comes in four versions.
The standard version of the Ubi application, which costs only $ 149, offers support for virtual displays up to 45 inches in size. The professional version ($ 379) and the business version ($ 799) allow you to project 100-inch screens. If Basic offers one touch point, then Business has two, and Enterprise ($ 1,499) has twenty.
It is worth noting that the Ubi application works only with the Windows 8 operating system and fully supports the Metro interface.
