If you believe the latest report provided by Google, Jelly Bean has become the most popular version of the Android operating system and is now more than 40 percent of all devices (smartphones, tablets) running on the operating system of the search giant.

On the presented graph (above), you can see that Android 4.1.x operating system is installed on 34 percent of all mobile devices (and is now the most popular version), while Android 4.2.x (which is also part of Jelly Bean) is set to , 5 percent of all Android devices.
Next comes Android 2.3.x Gingerbread. This version of the OS is still popular and is noted on 33.1 percent of devices. Next is Android 4.0.x Ice Cream, which has selected 22.5 percent of all devices.
The old 3.2 Honeycomb, 2.2 Froyo, 2.1 Éclair and the ancient 1.6 Donut slowly but surely go into oblivion. They accounted for 0.1 percent, 2.5 percent, 1.2 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively.
