Who would have thought that urine analysis would be trusted to smartphones? At the TED conference in Long Beach (California, USA), MIT entrepreneur presented an iPhone application that performs urine analysis.
Just do not think that the liquid is going to the phone. Everything is completely wrong. A container is used to collect the urine and a test strip is inserted into it. Then you should start the application, turn on the camera of the phone and point it to the strip.
Uchek application is able to diagnose up to 25 diseases, measure the content of glucose, proteins and ketones in the urine. Numerous sample tests showed that the application reads information from the strip better than a person.
“The idea is to bring people closer to their information. I want people to better understand what is happening with their bodies ",
- says developer Myshkin Ingaval (Myshkin Ingawale).
Ingaval is currently working on a version for Android. The application itself costs 99 cents, and a set of strips with a color table - $ 20.
