There is information that Microsoft is developing an update of the Windows Phone 8 operating system for mobile devices. It is unlikely that this will come as a surprise to anyone, because traditionally large software updates, such as WP8, receive minor updates shortly after the release. The update will be called Apollo + and will address issues that Microsoft has not previously had time for.
The exact contents of the Apollo + software package is unknown, but we have some assumptions. Apparently, the WiFi connection errors will be corrected, work with sound has been done, and additional features have been added that did not get to the WP8 Notification Center. Another nice option may be to support VPN, focused on the corporate segment.
The release date of Apollo + is not reported, but the update is expected to debut during the Mobile World Congress exhibition in February 2013.
