Windows Phone 8 ported to HTC HD2

It seems that the old man HTC HD2, which was released in 2009, can launch a new Windows Phone 8. For those who are not familiar with this device, say that it has the specifications of an entry-level smartphone (4.3 ′ WVGA screen, 1 GHz processor from Qualcomm, Adreno 200 video accelerator and 448 MB of RAM). The device itself was sold with Windows Mobile 6.5 on board, but later WP7, WP 7.5 and Android were ported to it. And now you can install WP 8 on it.

The development team, known as the Dark Forse Team, announced that it was able to port the new version of Microsoft's mobile operating system to HTC HD2. As proof, the team provided screenshots of the system's interface on HD2, but, unfortunately, they did not provide any details on the launch of WP8 on the HTC HD2. It is still a mystery how to install the operating system, but it is clear that somehow it can be done. The most interesting thing about this story is the fact that not a single WP 7 smartphone will be upgraded to WP 8.

Let's hope that the authors of the port will soon share additional information with us, but for now we just have to wait.
