Microsoft today announced that it opens access to the Windows Store content with a PEGI-18 rating. This means that games for iphone, ipad, android can be downloaded now and will be available to the Microsoft store soon.
The company explains its decision by saying that in this way it only strengthens the two principles on which the Windows Store itself works - “flexibility and trust”. Microsoft says that "with access to games with a PEGI 18 rating, users will have more choice."
Earlier, Microsoft itself said that games and applications with an age rating above PEGI 16 will not be able to receive certification in their Windows Store, and therefore in the Windows Marketplace. But now the company has decided to change its policy and even announced that games such as The Witcher and Grand Theft Auto IV should soon be available.
This is really good news for gamers. After all, most of the most interesting and popular titles on the market are intended for an adult audience. We are really glad that Microsoft is starting to meet its customers. But porn do not wait there!
