DRAM memory manufacturers are disappointed in Windows 8

74a

Manufacturers of RAM for the PC are indignant. Warehouses are full. Prices for the current generation of memory are nowhere lower - all hope was for the new Windows 8 operating system from Microsoft. But not burned out.

After all, as it used to be: with the release of each new operating system, orders for DRAM components were creeping up sharply, as PC manufacturers introduced more and more new products, and users went to the store for new memory bars for their systems.

Windows 8, in turn, is built on the same kernel (albeit slightly improved) as Windows 7. And it, in turn, is not particularly demanding on resources. The new OS will not force the user to run to the store for a new computer or memory in our case simply because Microsoft offers an extremely cheap way to switch from Windows 7 to Windows 8.

Now the only hope of manufacturers of RAM will be companies such as Intel, AMD and ARM. It is they who will decide whether they need DDR4 standard memory.
