According to analyst Wes Miller (Wes Miller) from the company Directions on Microsoft, today the online store has 5,563 apps for Windows 8 worldwide, of which 87% are free software. 94% of applications from the general mass, which are focused on the x86 version of Windows 8, are also supported by the Windows RT platform.
Last week, WinAppUpdate called the figure 4,326 applications. This means that in just a week, the number of applications in the Windows Store has increased by 1,000.
