Microsoft denied rumors about the release of Office for iOS and Android

This morning, the online editions talked about the readiness of Microsoft to release an office suite for mobile devices based on iOS and Android. The source of the news was the Czech resource, who said that the launch of Microsoft Office for mobile platforms will take place in March 2013. Later, the head of Microsoft’s corporate communications division, Frank Shaw, tweeted the following on Twitter:

“The information published by our Czech division is not accurate. No more comments.

Rumors about the launch of Microsoft Office for iOS appeared long ago. In February of this year, The Daily newspaper wrote that Microsoft is working on an office for the iPad. Unfortunately, so far these rumors have not been confirmed.
