Sources report that the office suite will be released in early 2013 in the form of free apps that will allow iOS and Android users to view Microsoft Office documents on the go. As with SkyDrive and OneNote, Office Mobile will require a Microsoft account. Initially, the account provides access to basic viewing features. Office Mobile will support Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents. Editing features will become available after you purchase an Office 365 subscription, which can be arranged within the application.

If you believe the Czech division of Microsoft, the Office Mobile application package for iOS will be released in March, while the Android version will debut in May 2013.
