Two weeks have passed since the release of Windows 8 and Windows RT. After a couple of days, both operating systems will receive their first security patches . The update will take place within the framework of the traditional Microsoft “Tuesday patches” (Patch Tuesday).
On Tuesday, November 13, a total of six separate updates will be released, designed to fix 19 problems in Microsoft software products. Three updates affect 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 8, they are marked as "critical." The other two updates are for the Windows RT operating system that runs the Surface tablet. One of the patches is “critical”, the other is simply “important.”
As usual, detailed information about the patches will be published after they are available for download. This is done for non-disclosure of vulnerabilities.
