For the past few months, Stardock has been working on the Start8 application for Windows 8 , which should provide users of the new hybrid operating system with Start menu functionality, familiar to many from previous versions of Windows. Previously, the company released several free beta versions of the application, but what was presented today is the final commercial edition available for download and purchase.
Start8 downloads directly to the desktop desktop. Additionally, there is a Start menu from previous versions of the operating system. The program has been added the ability to search for applications "Modern" Windows 8, as well as the ability to launch them from the Start menu, from where the Windows 8 start screen is available.
