In an interview with Gigaom, executive director Jolla confirmed the company's plans to release its first phone. According to Jussi Hurmola, the novelty based on MeeGo debuts closer to the end of this year.
Jolla Mobile was created by former Nokia employees. The guys decided to independently develop the operating system MeeGo. Mr. Hurmola said that currently his team is working on the creation of a mobile ecosystem that covers developers, services and navigation.
