Last month, only 0.33 percent of all Windows users expressed their sympathy for Windows 8 and installed it on their computers. In other words - only 33 of 10,000 computers used Windows 8.
In turn, Windows 7 attracted far more people to September 2009. At that moment, the G7 was already used by 1.64 percent of people from the entire market. In other words, Windows 7 was installed on 164 computers out of 10,000.
Speaking in ordinary language, the popularity of Window 8 before launch is five times lower than the popularity of Window 7. But Microsoft is not concerned about this.
In an interview with The Seattle Times, Steve Ballmer expressed confidence that millions of copies of Windows 8 will be sold by the end of the year.
