Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was introduced at the end of the month before last as the most advanced of all versions of the Android operating system for mobile devices. Since then, only the owners of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Samsung Nexus S could enjoy the benefits of Jelly Bean. All other users could only dream of a new firmware. According to SamMobile resource (without official confirmation from the Korean side), Samsung Galaxy S III will be the first non-Nexus smartphone to receive a new version of the mobile operating system. The update is expected in late September or early October of this year, the report says.
Moreover, somewhere in the beginning of October, the Jelly Bean update will receive an unannounced Samsung Galaxy Note II. At the same time, it is worth noting that this option is possible if the Samsung brand tablet device will receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. From this it follows that the Koreans do not have time to fit the Galaxy Note 2 to the requirements of Jelly Bean.
In turn, the Samsung Galaxy S II and the original Galaxy Note will get Jelly Bean in October-December of this year. Regarding the update of tablet computers there is no information yet.
