Lumia 800 and 710 owners will get a big update June 27

When Microsoft officially unveiled the new Windows Phone 8 operating system, many current-generation Lumia smartphone owners were upset that they would not receive this update. Nevertheless, the company also shared information about updating Windows Phone 7.8 and that it will offer a set of some features that Windows Phone 8 will have.

Nokia, in turn, promised to continue to support Lumia smartphones and release regular updates that will add new exclusive features. Now the Finnish company has announced that Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 smartphones will receive the next update on June 27th. This update will add Internet sharing, flip-to-silence and streaming support. In addition, the update will improve camera performance, add new features to contact lists, add a traffic meter, support for DLNA, and offer several games from Zynga, including Words With Friends and Draw Something.
