Smartphones Meizu MX and M9 will receive an official update of Android 4.0 in the form of Flyme OS 1.0 in June of this year. The firmware will be available both “over the air” and directly from the Meizu website.
In addition to stability and high performance, Flyme 1.0 software will bring with it the ability to backup and synchronize data, the function of locating a lost smartphone, access to cloud services and data storages.
The Meizu M9 debuted in February 2011 with a price tag of 1,699 RMB (about $ 269). The smartphone is equipped with a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels, a gigahertz processor and a rear 5-megapixel camera. In turn, the Meizu MX is priced at 2399 Chinese yuan (about $ 380), has an A9 2-core microprocessor, a 4-inch display with a density of 229 PPI, and a rear 8-megapixel camera.
