Back in January of this year, the company said that it had sold a total of 525 million licensed copies of Windows 7. Therefore, another 75 million sales of the company were achieved in just 5 months.
Microsoft hopes that its new operating system Microsoft Windows 8, whose release will take place this fall, will also become as popular as its predecessor, Windows 7. It will be interesting to see if the company's expectations will be met.
