Following Google and Apple, Microsoft will host its developer conference. Today, the company announced that its annual BUILD event will be held on the Microsoft campus in Redmond (WA) from October 30 to November 2, 2012. This year, the conference will be held a week after the release of Windows 8, so that developers will have enough time to study the final version of the operating system.
Microsoft promises that this year’s event will be different from all other conferences held on campus earlier. Among the speakers will be representatives of engineering groups, and will cover such topics as Windows Azure, Windows Phone 8, Windows Server 2012, Visual Studio 2012, and many others. Registration of participants will begin on August 8th. More information about the BUILD 2012 event will be published in the next few weeks.
