Microsoft transferred Windows 8 to RTM status

Microsoft announced that it has fully completed the development of the new Windows 8 operating system, transferred it to RTM (Release to Manufacturing) status and has already begun to send it to its OEM partners.

This means that manufacturers can begin to build their new PCs based on Windows 8, as well as new tablets based on the new OS and prepare for the release of Windows 8, which will be held on October 26.
