Nokia is quit working on Linux-based software that the company used as a rival platform against Android. The Finnish company is going to replace the Series 40 platform with a new one, codenamed Meltemi .
This platform will be presented on the market of mid-range phones - from $ 100 to $ 200. This sector of the market was and remains the strongest for the company - 20 percent of all the handsets sold in the first quarter of this year were under the Nokia brand.
