The VR Zone portal, after talking with several tablet makers, found out that Microsoft will take a bribe of $ 85 for each version of Windows RT and therefore the final cost of the devices will not work below $ 500.
It can be assumed that the first wave of Windows-based tablets will be offered from $ 549 to $ 799. Top versions of new products will probably cost from $ 799 to $ 899.
If this rumor is true, then with such a policy tablets running Windows 8 are unlikely to become popular and will not be able to compete on the price front with the iPad from Apple and similar devices based on Android.
