In an interview with TechRadar, a representative of the British division of Panasonic told about the company's plans for the near future. As it turned out, in the long run, Panasonic is not averse to producing smart cameras that will work under the Android operating system. At the same time, the company's management is concerned about the use of Android as a platform for their future cameras:
“This is one of the options that we are considering for the near future. In this case, we in no case should not forget about consumers and continue to fulfill all warranty obligations assumed. If we open the platform to third parties, we will lose control over the guarantee, because we will not be able to control the user's actions related to downloading content. ”
Recall that not so long ago the company Polaroid introduced its own smart camera based on Android.
