In addition to the fact that Windows 8 will offer many new features, several of which we have already told, Microsoft has come up with a new way to protect your data. The thing is that in Windows 8 a “password – photo” function will appear.
Using ordinary passwords - long, consisting of numbers and letters - quite effectively protects your computer from the encroachments of thieves and fraudsters. However, it is not uncommon that these same passwords protect a computer from their own owners - they simply forget these passwords, because besides setting a password for entering Windows itself, we also use a whole bunch of numeric and letter combinations in various web services and applications. Many of course try to use the same password for all their good, but in this case, the effectiveness of protection is greatly reduced - if a thief selects a password for any of your accounts, he will acquire a password for everything at once.
I decided to help Microsoft. It has created a system that not only effectively protects access to your data or accounts, but also does not heavily load your memory. The principle is as follows. Do you want, for example, to set an account login password. Go to a special menu where you are offered to choose a suitable picture from your gallery. Choose a picture where you, for example, sit in a bar with three of your friends. Then with certain gestures (tapas, wiring lines and circles) you set a password. Then again repeat the gestures done (confirm the password) and that's it.
Of course, in Windows 8, the ability to set a normal alphanumeric password or PIN code will remain, but this method seems to us somewhat more interesting.
Now that you are logged in, you just need to repeat the gestures you set. And the thief who stole your tablet or laptop now sees not a field with a login and password, but a photo.
