Apparently, AMD processors on the Bulldozer microarchitecture have a very high overclocking potential. According to Fudzilla, one overclocking specialist in the Czech Republic managed to overclock the FX-8130P processor to 5.1 GHz "in the air." In other words, the test platform used conventional air rather than liquid cooling.
It should be noted that the test platform worked stably at this frequency in SuperPi. The operating voltage is 1.524 V. To achieve a stable test platform in Cinebench, the tester had to reduce the frequency of the FX-8130P to 4.85 GHz.
Recall that AMD processors from the FX series will be positioned in the hi-end segment. At the moment, it is the most powerful processors for desktop systems in the AMD model range. As expected, they will be officially presented and launched for sale this fall.
It only remains to add that in the course of testing an engineering sample was used, and not a serial model FX-8130P. Its nominal clock frequency is 3.8 GHz.
