The Chinese search engine Baidu published a teaser for its unannounced mobile operating system. The platform, called Baidu Yi, will soon be available to third-party developers of games, maps and other tools that will be distributed through the online application store, exactly as it does on the App store. According to the developer, Baidu Yi is built on the type of the Android operating system.
The company also updated the search engine home page with four new features, including social ones. The next innovation was the mandatory registration on the site, which, according to the Internet portal SohuIT, may adversely affect traffic and slow down the issuance of results. However, if we consider that the search engine has about 200 million registered users, it will be interesting to see the behavior of Baidu in the market of mobile operating systems and whether the most interesting thing about Windows 7 is about Baidu.
