RIM: Blackberry Playbook will be able to work with applications for Android

As promises RIM, Blackberry Playbook users will certainly get access to two huge application resources - Java and Android. According to Canadians, they plan to release two unique applications this summer. In theory, they need Blackberry PlayBook users to play applications designed to work with Blackberry Java and Android 2.3 on this tablet.

It is worth noting that developers have to recode their products and submit to Blackberry App World if they want applications designed to work in Blackberry Java and Android 2.3 to work on the Blackberry PlayBook. If such applications receive "good" from RIM, they will be available to users through App World. Apparently, such products will be released no earlier than summer, as this tablet itself should go on sale in the US and Canada on April 19. RIM also promises to release a set of utilities (SDK) for those who write programs for Blackberry Tablet OS in C / C ++.
