Samsung Infuse 4G will receive a Gingerbread update this month.

Despite its recent release, Samsung Infuse 4G came out with the operating system Froyo (Android 2.2) instead of the expected version 2.3 (Gingerbread). Since then, smartphone users have been waiting for the next update, and for good reason. Mobile operator AT & T has confirmed in his blogging on Twitter that Infuse will be updated this month .

There was also a note that along with the Samsung Infuse 4G model, other smartphones will also receive an update. The list includes LG Phoenix, Motorola ATRIX 4G (already updated to Gingerbread), Pantech Crossover, Samsung Captivate and Inspire 4G (updated).

Since half of September has already passed, the release of the update for Infuse 4G is not far off.
