Microsoft on Friday celebrated another significant event for it - the Windows 7 operating system sold over 350 million licensed copies, which were sold either with the computer or as an update.
The company has managed to sell such a number of copies in a year and a half. Recall that in the light of Windows 7 was released in October 2009. In just six months after the start of sales, the new OS sold over 240 million copies and more recently overtook the most popular OS from the same Microsoft - Windows XP.
